Erik ten Hag insists his Manchester United side need more quality options, if they are to compete on all fronts this season.
The Dutchman was heavily backed during his first window in charge, with the Red Devils spending in excess of £200million before the season started. And that investment is beginning to bear fruit, with United firmly in the mix for a return to the Champions League.
But Ten Hag has made it clear that he needs further depth within his squad to ensure their upwards trajectory is maintained. He was speaking after United missed out on Cody Gakpo, with the Netherlands international instead joining Liverpool.
