Erik ten Hag certainly hasn't had it easy in the first few weeks of his Manchester United premiership - both on an off the pitch.
The Dutchman has not only seen his side open the season with degrading defeats against Brighton and Brentford, but he has also struggled to land some of his primary transfer targets, forcing him to work with the same beleaguered squad that was culpable for United recording their worst ever finish in the Premier League era last term.
To date, Ten Hag has managed to acquire just three players - although the former Ajax chief has now finally bagged the No.6 he has coveted all summer after Manchester United struck a £60million deal with Real Madrid to make Casemiro their fourth signing of the summer.
