Napoli have already identified a replacement for defender Kim Min-jae, who is in advanced talks to join Manchester United, who have also re-activated their interest in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Kim, 26, has been linked with a summer switch to Old Trafford for months despite only moving to Naples last year. The South Korean international enjoyed a tremendous campaign as he starred in the club’s remarkable Serie A title-winning campaign, but his contract is believed to contain a €50million (£43m) release clause.
He is not the only Italy-based player whom United boss Erik ten Hag wants to bring to Old Trafford. Interest has been reactivated in Juve midfielder Rabiot, despite United walking away from a deal due to the Frenchman's excessive salary demands.
