Erik ten Hag has brought one major change to Manchester United dressing room

Erik ten Hag has overseen a change in attitude at Manchester United.

That's according to United winger Anthony Elanga. The Sweden international has established himself as a first-team regular at Old Trafford and, having worked under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and then interim boss Ralf Rangnick, Elanga has now highlighted the big difference Ten Hag has made to the side since his summer appointment.

He cites the reaction to the humbling 4-0 loss at Brentford last month as a big turning point – saying the players are now "more together" whether they win or lose. Since that nadir, United have an unblemished record in the Premier League with four wins from four games and Elanga believes a lot of that it down to the club's new boss.

Speaking to Swedish news outlet Fotbollskanalen during the international break, Elanga said: "If I have to say one thing (he's changed), it's attitude.

"Our attitude has improved a lot. We are more focused and know what to do. We play as a team. It has become a new system. Not all the players are quite used to it, but we have been playing well and have started to win games. We are happy.

"We came in the next day after the Brentford game and trained. I think it's normal because we lost 4-0, and it's not dignified to be Manchester United. But it was good, because then in the match against Liverpool there was a very big difference in our attitude compared to the match against Brentford.

"If we lose, we lose as a team. Now we are more together. If we win, we do it as a team."
