Ten Hag Wout Weghorst Erik ten Hag Manchester United Anthony Martial

Erik ten Hag confirmed Manchester United are close to signing Wout Weghorst but he will not be available for the derby against City on Saturday.

United needed to sign Weghorst by the 12pm deadline on Friday to register him in time to be included in the squad against City.

The 30-year-old is on the verge of joining United on loan from Burnley until the end of the season, having spent the first five months of the campaign on loan at Besiktas.
