Cristiano Ronaldo's fairytale return to Manchester United has been anything but for all parties involved.
On a personal level, Ronaldo was part of the poorest Red Devils team to ever play in the Premier League last season, meaning he will not be competing in the Champions League this campaign if he remains at United.
While on a business level, Ronaldo has upset his new boss Erik ten Hag this summer after he announced he wants to leave United, and, more recently, when the Portugal international left Old Trafford before the end of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano after he was taken off at half-time in the friendly.
Ten Hag slammed Ronaldo's behaviour, telling the press: "I certainly don't condone this. This is unacceptable. For everyone. We are a team and you have to stay until the end."
The Dutchman isn't the only boss who has had to deal with Ronaldo storming off a pitch after not getting his own way.
Sir Alex Ferguson even experienced it during Ronaldo's first stint at the club but brushed off the issue as the forward was young and United were flying high at the time.
Dwight Yorke, however, had a few choice things to say in Ferguson's place.

"When you look at what is happening at United - going for the title and in the Champions League final - everything is great," he said in 2009.
"Then you get someone behaving like that. To throw away his tracksuit top and huff and puff is uncalled for and out of order, there is no need."
Ralf Rangnick also experienced Ronaldo storming off the pitch against Burnley last season, and like Ten Hag, made it clear in the press that he was unhappy with the forward.
"It's a question you have to ask Cristiano. I only realised that after the game. This is not a question I can answer," Rangnick said of the situation at the time.
"Cristiano as we all know is 37. I think he knows himself what he should do or should not do and what he has to do. Our focus is on those things we can influence and develop.
"Why he didn't do, why he left the pitch directly after the final whistle, maybe he was also disappointed that we only got a draw and that he didn't score.
"Again, this is not any kind of energy we should waste at the wrong end. We put our full focus on those things we can influence."
Reports claim Ronaldo's relationship with Ten Hag is already in jeopardy just days before the start of the season, with the United boss set to start Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford up front with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner named on the bench.
Should Ten Hag indeed leave Ronaldo out then the Portugal international will be more determined than ever to secure a transfer away from Old Trafford.
