Erik ten Hag has described Manchester United's new signing Casemiro as the "cement between the stones" following the 30-year-old's Old Trafford unveiling.
The former Real Madrid man was introduced to the Old Trafford crowd ahead of United's clash with Liverpool on Monday night. Casemiro was warmly received by those in the stands as well as those on media duties.
Roy Keane, who was working for Sky Sports for the game, shared a hug with the Brazilian after he had completed a small lap of the pitch to applaud the fans. Casemiro would have been extremely pleased with what he witnessed from his new teammates as United secured their first victory of the season.

Mohamed Salah scored a consolation goal for Jurgen Klopp's side but the Reds had enough to see off the opposition to leapfrog them in the Premier League table. After United's surprising but welcome victory over Liverpool, Ten Hag explained exactly why he had chosen to sign the experienced central midfielder.
"He has won so many trophies, so he knows the road how you win games, and win trophies," the Dutchman said. "We have more players who have won already many trophies, so that has to be a guidance for the rest of the team.
"Today we did really well. It is what we must deliver every game."
Before kick-off, Ten Hag added to Sky Sports: "He is the cement between the stones. That is what we have been looking for in the summer and found him.
"[I’m] very happy with his signing." Casemiro could make his United debut away at Southampton on Saturday.
