Erik ten Hag has explained Bruno Fernandes' leadership qualities and his tactical awareness are what makes him so important to Manchester United.
After a difficult period last season, Fernandes has roared back to his best form under Ten Hag and has become the first name on the manager's team sheet. The Portuguese has played the full 90 minutes in all but one Premier League game, which he missed due to suspension, and has only not started twice in cup fixtures.
It's a gruelling amount of football Fernandes has been subjected to but Ten Hag is confident he will be able to deal with it thanks to his excellent fitness.
