Erik ten Hag cancelled his Manchester United players’ day off on Sunday and summoned them to training after their 4-0 thrashing at Brentford.

United conceded four first-half goals as they succumbed to Brentford’s high pressing tactics, and at the other end Ten Hag’s side barely threatened goalkeeper David Raya.
