The trip to South Korea has not only reunited the Tottenham team and allowed them to prepare for the big season ahead, it hasn't failed to keep the morale of the side up. It is a perfect team bonding experience with everyone together in a different country and there have been no shortage of instances that prove that.
On their travels, Matt Doherty was showing off his new goatee on the plane and the Irish international then asked his teammates to rate it, with Eric Dier first up. "I like it man, I like it personally," he said. "You've gotta give decimal points, otherwise you're an amateur. I'm going to go like a 7.6 on the goatee, not Dohey in general."
New arrival Fraser Forster was then asked for his rating and he gave it a brutal minus two, leaving Doherty with a shocked look on his face and Dier responded: "Fraser's settling in well. Throw out a minus two." Harry Kane was last to rate the 30-year-old's new look. "Matt's gone for an interesting choice with his beard. I know he's listening but I'm going to be real honest, I'll give him a 5.5 for the goatee," Kane said.

Antonio Conte's side then arrived in South Korea, underwent a gruelling training session on Monday and secured a victory in their first pre-season friendly. The game finished 6-3 against Team K League and it was Dier who opened up the scoring.
The defender ran up the field from his centre-back position, played a nice one two with Bryan Gil, before travelling with the ball to the edge of the box. Dier then looked up and smashed the ball with his left foot, into the corner or the net.
This was the start of a solid game, where a number of the Spurs players got their opportunity to impress Conte. The game was an evening fixture in South Korean time, so it was then time to rest. However, Doherty, Kane and Dier all decided to film another video, this time rating the latter's goal. The England captain was on filming duty and Doherty struggled to keep composed, with Kane admitting it was their fourth attempt at filming.
"I'm not new to the ratings game, I brought you to the ratings game," the Irishman said, before giving his verdict. "I'm going to rate his [Dier] goal a 7.7. I thought he showed great composure, it was also on his left foot, came out of defence well and he just looked in control the whole way so 7.7 for me." It was then Kane's turn and he believed Doherty's rating was a "little low".
"Coming from a goalscorer. I'm going to give it 8.9. Really good goal, coming in, not easy on the weaker foot and he's whipped it back across into the bins. Yeah, really hard finish and made it look easy, so 8.9 for me," he admitted.
The trio were all joking around throughout and Dier then said: "Good thing Fraser's not here," referencing the harsh rating the goalkeeper had given Doherty's goatee. Forster is having to isolate, along with Yves Bissouma, after testing positive for Covid so isn't likely to be involved with any of the ratings during the trip. However the trio seem to have started a trend and who knows what else they will be rating, as the pre-season travels continue.
