Ryan Moore guided Auguste Rodin to victory in the Derby at Epsom as Frankie Dettori was denied a farewell win.
Auguste Rodin chased down outsider King of Steel to win by a length and give Moore his third Derby.
Dettori finished 10th on Arrest in his last ride in the Derby.
White Birch was third with Artistic Star in fourth.
Auguste Rodin was hugely disappointing when went off was favourite for last month’s 2000 Guineas but he bounced back in brilliant fashion here.
It looked as though 66-1 outsider King Of Steel had an unassailable lead coming into the final furlong but Auguste Rodin passed him just before the post.
There was tight security at Epsom, with police making 19 arrests before to the race to prevent any protests.
The Jockey Club won a High Court injunction last month to prevent animal rights protesters disrupting the event.
Police said "all were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit public nuisance" and remain in custody.
