EPS pension alert: Can't submit your Life Certificate? Here's the process EPFO wants you to follow

EPS the Employees Pension Scheme

Pensioners under the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS)-95 who can't submit their life certificate have the option to get doorstep assistance through the postal department.

According to EPS-95 rules, pensioners must provide their Life Certificate once every year to continue receiving pension without interruption. Pensioners can also submit a Digital Life Certificate (DLC), also known as Jeevan Pramaan, which is a biometric-enabled digital certificate based on Aadhaar that confirms the pensioner's living status.
