With June just around the corner, a slew of Pride events taking place in Dublin are being announced. Making its hotly anticipated return is Victoria and Davina's Pride party in Vicar Street.
Taking place on Saturday, June 25 (the day of the Dublin Pride parade), revellers can expect an event this year that focuses on home grown talent, Dublin's favourite drag artists and plenty of pop music. In fact, it's a whole nine hour pop fest, ensuring that magical Pride atmosphere is carried on from the daytime celebrations into the night.
Beloved Dublin drag queen Davina Devine, who has hosted the event alongside pal Victoria Secret for a number of years now, explained to Dublin Live what we can expect from this year's edition of the event.

She revealed: "In previous years we always had one big name popstar act, like one main headliner. For this year, we decided to get some international DJs in, focusing more on the music and the night out. It's only €20, nine hours of pure pop music. We're going to have every queen who is a favourite in Dublin.
"We'll do a big show and we're going to have some home grown Irish talent as well.
"We've been doing this event now since 2014. It started off in a really small venue with pop DJs for like five hours but now it's much bigger. We have a couple of surprises on the way."
Previous years saw Victoria and Davina welcome stars such as Irish pop legends Bewitched.
Tickets for Victoria and Davina's Pride Party at Vicar Street on Saturday, June 25 are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
Other events taking place on the day include the Mother Pride Block Party at Collins Barracks. The event, which includes headliners such as Rina Sawayama, will run as a two-day festival on the Saturday and Sunday of Pride weekend.
