Flying Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is climbing up the charts and is pushing for a long-standing English Premier League record held by Celtic hero Chris Sutton.
The Parkhead legend enjoyed a storied stay south of the border with Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers which earned him his move to Chelsea. And that's reflected in the all-time rankings of goals and assists from players 21 and under in one season. Sutton is out in front with 36 combined from his Carrow Road days – ahead of Robbie Fowler who grabs second and third spot amid his prodigious record as a teenager with Liverpool.
But now Bukayo Saka is aiming to gatecrash the party and stands on 22 – 14 behind Sutton and if he catches him it could also lead to Arsenal celebrating their first league title in 19 years. The England international's soaring form makes him bonafide contender for a crown which has remained with Sutton for almost 30 years.
