Chaos. Absolute chaos is one way to describe Chelsea's January transfer window but it's the sort of chaos that football supporters live for.
The Blues have made seven (yes, seven) signings so far this month and are working on an eighth before the window officially closes at 11pm this evening (Tuesday). Todd Boehly has really made a statement over January with Chelsea spending over £200million on new recruits as the the co-owner looks to give Graham Potter the tools to improve on the side's recent form and finish the season strongly.
So far, Chelsea have confirmed the signings of David Datro Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, Joao Felix (loan), Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Malo Gusto (loaned back to Lyon for the rest of the season). But, as mentioned above, Chelsea are not done there and the club will work tirelessly behind the scenes to get one more signing done, while others could be sold, or loaned out, to try and somewhat balance the books at Stamford Bridge.

So, as you'd expect considering the window the club have had so far, expect plenty more drama to unfold before the clock hits 11 o'clock tonight. With that being said, football.london brings you three deals Chelsea may well work on before the window closes.
Enzo Fernandez
The big one: Enzo Fernandez. It's the name on all Chelsea supporters' lips at the moment. The Argentine midfielder has been the club's No. 1 target this month but there have been complications over a deal with Benfica.
Towards the start of the month – something that feels an eternity ago now – Chelsea were in advanced negotiations with Benfica over signing the 22-year-old and have recently reopened talks to try and bring the midfielder to Stamford Bridge.
His current employers are adamant they will not sell Fernandez unless his €120million (£105million) release clause is triggered and the Blues are currently locked in talks to try and find an agreement. A meeting in Portugal, with representatives from both clubs present, was held on Monday morning to try and resolve the matter.
Fernandez wants to join Chelsea this month, so on that side it will not be an issue whatsoever. However, it's about Chelsea finding a compromise, or giving in to Benfica's demands in the final hours of the window if they do want the Argentina World Cup winner.
Chelsea also have an interest in Brighton's Moises Caicedo, who has reportedly been the subject of two bids from Arsenal in recent days. The Blues, though, have now switched their full attention to Fernandez, football.london understands.
Conor Gallagher
As football.london reported earlier this month, Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is attracting attention from elsewhere in the Premier League. Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have both expressed interest in taking the 22-year-old midfielder on loan for the remainder of the season.
Gallagher, who has a contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2025, has featured 25 times for Chelsea in all competitions this term but has failed to cement a spot in Potter's first-team. It's understood that Gallagher does not want to leave this month.
However, things can change very quickly in football. If Chelsea were to land the aforementioned Fernandez, then perhaps their stance over the England international, who is not short of suitors, will change somewhat. Everton came in for a £40m offer for the England international yesterday.
Gallagher shone at Crystal Palace last season during a loan spell and will have fond memories of Selhurst Park. Meanwhile, Newcastle are expected to sell Jonjo Shelvey to Nottingham Forest and may look for a replacement for the central midfielder, although Boehly may not wish to sell Gallagher to a top-half Premier League team.
Hakim Ziyech
football.london has been told Chelsea are open to letting Hakim Ziyech leave the club before the window closes. The 29-year-old has struggled for game time this season but has recently been picked by Potter and has impressed in the process.
Ziyech wanted to leave the club last summer, with interest from several European clubs, but Chelsea ended up keeping the former Ajax winger. At the moment, there's not understood to be any advanced talks with any club over the sale of Ziyech, but as the deadline draws closer, those interested parties could become more keen to buy.
Jorginho
Arsenal are considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho football.london understands. The Gunners are in the market for a midfielder before the January transfer window closes on Tuesday evening following a long-term injury to Mohamed Elneny.
Chelsea are understood to be willing to let the Italian international leave before the window closes if the fee is suitable as they near a deal for Fernandez. Jorginho has just six months remaining on his contract so would potentially be available for a lower fee, but it is not thought that a move is advanced at this stage.
