Entry to the queue to see the Queen’s lying in state has resumed after it was paused for hours, but wait times have now reached 24 hours.
The Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport updated its queue livetracker just after 5pm, with people now being allowed to join the back of the line at Southwark Park.
But mourners have been warned they may have to wait 24 hours to reach Westminster Hall to pay their respects and see the Queen’s coffin.
On Friday morning the wait time was 12 hours. They are also being warned of chilly overnight temperatures - It is expected to drop to a low of 9C - and that the queue may need to be paused again.
