Entries for GloucestershireLive Business Awards 2023 close on FRIDAY - here is EVERYTHING you need to know

Entries for GloucestershireLive Business Awards 2023 will close this Friday - July 14.

This is your final chance to enter the awards, which are back for the 25th year with returning headline partner Randall & Payne.

From high streets to business parks and industrial estates, from gleaming city centre offices to workshops, factories and farms, businesses are the lifeblood of our regional economy, and GloucestershireLive wants to honour the best of them and the people behind them.

But they are about so much more than numbers on a balance sheet - they are a key part of the fabric of our communities, and help to make Gloucestershire such an amazing place to live and work.

With entries closing this week it is important to get your application in. But don't rush it, follow BusinessLive's simple 10 top tips for ensuring that your application and business sees the recognition it deserves.

Not only are the awards free to enter but businesses benefit from valuable exposure, employee motivation and increased credibility to name a few. Those that enter the awards could attract more customers, put themselves in a strong position against competitors, and attract new talent.

It is also worth mentioning that every business nominated will receive £250 worth of FREE digital advertising, and each category winner will receive a further £1,000.

If you are struggling to know which categories to enter make sure you know them all. This year the GloucestershireLive Business Awards have added the Rising Star, sponsored by Renishaw, for young a person in business, and the new Made in Britain award, sponsored by Cyber Security Associates, which recognises excellence in manufacturing and production in this country. Plus there is the new Global Britain award, recognising a business that is trading with the world in a successful and innovative way.

This is also your opportunity to nominate a business leader for the Outstanding Contribution award, which recognises the hard work achievements made throughout their career. Last year's winner was Ian Mean, Business West’s Gloucestershire director.

Entries close on July 14 and winners will be announced at the silver anniversary awards ceremony at Cheltenham Racecourse, on Thursday, October 12.

To enter or to secure your tickets, visit the event website.
