Independent commentator Ana Kasparian has pushed back against serious claims made about popular streamer Hasan Piker. The discussion started after commentator Dave Rubin spoke about Piker during a conversation with Xaviaer DuRousseau on May 21. Rubin claimed that Piker behaved inappropriately while working at The Young Turks and alleged that he harassed women in the workplace, including Kasparian. But Kasparian publicly denied those accusations days later. On May 28, she shared a clip of Rubin’s comments on X and strongly rejected the claims.
She wrote that Hasan Piker should sue Dave Rubin for defamation and said she was “never harassed by Has, sexually or otherwise.” Kasparian also accused Rubin of making up harassment allegations and speaking on her behalf without any basis. Her response gained attention online as people debated the claims being made by both sides. According to Kasparian, the allegations involving her were completely false.
