Dubliner Emma Doran left Ryan Tubridy in fits of laughter on Friday night after her "really funny" and "entertaining" interview on the Late Late Show.
The comedian has risen through the ranks in recent years through her hilarious online sketches and fantastic live stand-up shows and recently sold out three nights at Vicar Street.
This week marked her first ever appearance on the RTE talk show and Emma wasted no time in reminding Ryan that her invite was overdue. She said: "I think I'm only on because there was no one available from the Young Scientist.

"It's nonsense, they're on every other week!" The Tallaght native had Ryan in stitches as she went on to joke and imitate young scientists "developing apps" that "don't exist".
Emma also spoke about her podcast 'And Another Thing' which she hosts with Muireann O'Connell, as well as cracking some jokes about her life at home.
She had Ryan in fits of laughter once again when she hilariously described her quiet nights in with her partner, explaining that they like to get "a lovely takeaway and then, what I like to do is start a fight about absolutely f*cking nothing."
Viewers were quick to praise the comedian, with one writing online: "Emma Doran is part of a new generation of Irish comedic talent that is so effortlessly funny.
"We really need to rally and support them in anyway way we can, same as the film industry spotlight we're experiencing right now."
Another said: "Really enjoyed Emma Doran. Really funny and entertaining. Looking forward to seeing more of her."
A third wrote: "Never heard of Emma before but am looking up tickets for her shows as I tweet."
