Enterprise AI CRM startup Superleap raises Rs 36 crore from Peak XV's Surge

Enterprise AI customer relationship management (CRM) platform Superleap has raised Rs 36 crore in funding from Peak XV Partners' Surge, as the startup looks to expand its enterprise sales footprint.

The Bengaluru-based startup will use the fresh capital to deepen its AI capabilities, expand its go-to-market operations in India and overseas, and hire talent, cofounder and chief executive officer (CEO) Subham Kumar Boundia told ET.

Founded in 2024 by former Unacademy executives Boundia, Alok Maurya and Saurabh Maheshwari, Superleap develops AI-native CRM software for enterprise sales teams. The company helps large organisations migrate from legacy CRM systems with minimal business disruption.

The startup counts Razorpay, Aakash Education, MediBuddy, HCL GUVI, Cars24, PagarBook, Plum, Qube Cinema and Superhealth among its customers.

"We are building an agentic operating system that can support the entire revenue function with humans and AI agents working together," Boundia said. "This funding will help us accelerate product development, expand our enterprise presence and strengthen customer service."

Boundia said the company has grown tenfold over the past year and currently serves more than 50 enterprise customers across sectors, including banking and financial services, software, education, healthcare, travel and media.

Rather than targeting small and medium businesses first, as most SaaS startups do, Superleap has adopted an enterprise-first strategy. The company said its average contract value ranges between $60,000 and $100,000 (Rs 50-80 lakh)

According to Boundia, the CRM market has remained largely unchanged for over a decade, with legacy vendors controlling the majority of the market. He believes AI is creating an opportunity for enterprises to replace traditional CRM systems with software that can automate workflows and support sales teams in real time.

"CRM has traditionally been a system of record where sales teams manually enter data. AI is fundamentally changing that, making CRM systems capable of taking intelligent decisions and directly improving revenue outcomes," he said.

The startup is betting that generative AI will reshape the enterprise CRM market, which has long been dominated by legacy vendors such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle and Zoho.
