The 2008 Mustang features Ford’s 4.6-liter V8 engine, which made 300 horsepower 15 years ago. However, this pony has a supercharger from Roush and an assortment of internal engine upgrades to handle the additional boost. The engine now makes 510 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Roush had to install a forged steel eight-bolt crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons, and forged H-beam connecting rods.
