'Enough, I'm leaving!' - Moise Kean Everton regret revealed after transfer 'outbursts'

Moise Kean's brother has revealed that the striker 'felt very bad' about his move to Everton and has been pushing to return to Juventus permanently.

Kean joined Juventus' youth ranks back in 2010, spending nine years with the Italian giants before arriving at Goodison in 2019. The Toffees paid an initial £29million for the Italian, but struggled to get the best out of the promising but raw star, who managed just two goals in 33 games during his first campaign.

He played just six more games for Everton and was initially loaned out to Paris Saint-Germain before returning to Juventus on a two-season loan deal in 2021 - the second of which is this campaign. Max Allegri's side have an obligation to make that move permanent in the summer for £24million, but with the 22-year-old showing some semblance of his true quality with five goals in his last five games, such a deal looks likely to benefit all parties.

Not least the player himself who, as his brother John Kean has revealed, 'felt very bad' about joining Everton in the first place.

"The last year was the most difficult of his career, but it served him as a lesson," he told Tuttosport (via Calciomercato ). "I was sure he would come out of it because he has character and , when he feels confident, he manages to show what he's worth.

“Every now and then in recent months he would say to me: ‘Enough, I’m leaving!’ But they were impromptu outbursts due to poor use. He has never been about to leave and does not intend to, neither now nor in the future.

“On the contrary, he has pushed to return to Juve, it is his home. Allegri was the first to realise his progress. What a joy to see him score a double at Lazio under the eyes of Sarri, who did not want him. Kean felt very bad about being sold to Everton.”
