An Englishman "surprised" his Welsh girlfriend by learning a Welsh-language love song and performing it on Valentine's Day. However the girlfriend confessed she doesn't "have the heart" to tell him the true meaning of the song.
Wales, the land of song, is home to many beautiful Welsh-language songs about love. But it is also home to more slightly tragic tales with Myfanwy being one of them.
Making the confession on the Fesshole Twitter account the girlfriend said: "I'm Welsh and my Bf's English, for valentine's day he surprised me by learning a Welsh language love song and he sang it to me. I haven't the heart to tell him that the song he chose is a deeply tragic song about a man begging a woman to tell him why she doesn't love him anymore."
