English club ridiculed after unintentionally naming stand after serial killer

Rose West National League Phil Brown Sound West Stand

English club Southend United have been ridiculed as they accidentally renamed one of their stands after a serial killer Rose West.

The National League team recently announced that they had sold naming rights of one of their stands, renaming the West Stand the new Gilbert & Rose West Stand.

West is one of the infamous serial killers in British history with Rose, along with her husband Fred killing at least 12 people.
