Sheffield United are considering offering Rabbi Matondo a route back to the UK, it is being reported.
The former Rangers winger struggled for minutes after swapping Ibrox for Ibrox for Brann in March, making three appearances which were all from the bench.
He has been made available for transfer by the Norwegian side just months after having his Rangers contract ripped up in order to sign for them.
Now, the Sheffield Star is reporting the Blades are considering a move for the 25-year-old.

Chris Wilder wants to improve his options on the left wing and the report claims they are "among the clubs" weighing up and offer for Matondo.
After the new he was likely to leave Brann broke, the Welshman told Bergens Tidende: "It's a shame. I wanted to show myself to the fans.
"Now it looks like I might not get the opportunity to do that in Brann."
Sporting director Per-Ove Ludvigsen also told Bergens Tidende: "For now, we assume that he has a contract until the end of the year. So we will see how things develop for all parties in the coming weeks/months."
