England World Cup star Jude Bellingham shows true colours with unexpected reply to fan

It is safe to say England star Jude Bellingham has performed beyond his years after a string of stellar performances at the World Cup so far.

The 19-year-old ace has started in each of the Three Lions four matches at the tournament, including the 3-0 win over Senegal in the last-16. Bellingham was immense in that game, grabbing an assist for Jordan Henderson's opener and he has been one of the standout performers at the World Cup to date.

However, it isn't just on the pitch that Bellingham has been showing his class. The Borussia Dortmund man has also been excelling off the grass with the midfielder generously replying to a fan on social media over a request for a signed shirt.

Birmingham fan Gary tweeted on Wednesday evening: "I know this sounds cheeky but does anybody know how I could get one of Jude's signed shirts? I actually had one a couple of years ago but gave it to my Marie Curie charity for an auction, it would finish off my collection now. Can't believe the stuff I've given away over the years."

By Thursday morning, ex-Birmingham hero Bellingham had himself responded. Accompanying his message with a blue heart, Jude replied: "Got you mate! Have a look at your messages. KRO."

This was the latest piece of class from Bellingham, with the player having previously showed his support for Blues fans and replying to as many supporters as possible. He is the youngest player in the England squad at just 19 but Bellingham is performing beyond his years as he looks to guide England all the way in Qatar.

Bellingham made his England debut in 2020 after making his big-money switch to Dortmund as he came on as as second-half substitute for Mason Mount in a friendly against Republic of Ireland. He has since become a key figure in the England set-up, and after he sparingly featured at Euro 2020, Bellingham is a household name at this latest international tournament ahead of the Three Lions' game against France this weekend.

Gareth Southgate's side have been working hard in preparation for the game, with Kyle Walker offering an insight into how they are looking at France with Kylian Mbappe on five goals at the tournament. "I think the game's not England vs Mbappe, it's England vs France," Walker told a press conference on Wednesday.

"We respect that he is a good player in good form, but I am not going to roll out a red carpet for him and tell him to go and score.

"I'm representing my country at the quarter-final in a World Cup, it's do or die really. If we lose, we go home. He's not going to stand in my way of winning a World Cup for my country."
