England Women's World Cup 2023 squad: The 23-woman squad for the tournament

England Women's World Cup 2023 squad: England's forward #07 Lauren James (C) celebrates with her teammates after scoring her team's third goal during the Australia and New Zealand 2023 Women's World Cup Group D football match between China and England at Hindmarsh Stadium in Adelaide on August 1, 2023.

The England Women’s World Cup 2023 squad are into the quarter-finals of the tournament.

It’s been a strange tournament for the Lionesses so far. A world away from breezing through game after game 12 months ago, bar a 6-1 win over a China side who put up little resistance in the final group game, it’s been a very uneasy run for Sarina Wiegman and her squad both on and off the field.
