Surprisingly, England have never beaten Team USMNT in their previous two meetings at the FIFA World Cup with USA winning 1-0 in 1950 and then securing a 1-1 draw in 2010.
The Three Lions got off to the perfect start with a solid 6-2 win over Iran while USA could only manage a 1-1 despite dominating the majority of their match against Wales. A win for Southgate's side could secure them a place in the round of 16 depending on how results go in the Wales vs Iran match.
