EFL clubs have requested that their kick-off times be changed this weekend in order to enable fans to get home in time for England's World Cup quarter final fixture against France.
The match between the Three Lions and the reigning world champions kicks off at 7pm, just two hours after the conclusion of the day's 3pm kick-offs. As a result, Sky Sports News report that a number of EFL clubs have requested their kick-off times be brought forward.
This would enable both home and away fans to make it home in order to watch Gareth Southgate's men in their first ever World Cup knockout tie against their old rival. This also happens to coincide with the return of Championship football as all 24 clubs return to action following four weeks without games for the start of the World Cup.

The change will be permitted should both clubs agree and the rearranged kick-off time will be at 12:30pm. Clubs such as Norwich, who travel to Swansea, and Luton, whose fans face a 220 mile trip to Middlesbrough, may wish to make the request in order to provide their fans with the ability to watch England in what will be a historic match.
Blackburn vs Preston was already due to kick-off at 12pm on Sunday, while Rotherham vs Bristol City will also now be on at 12.30pm. In League One Ipswich vs Peterborough and Shrewsbury vs Bolton have both been moved forward, meanwhile, in League Two, the fixture between Carlisle and Barrow, plus Crewe vs Leyton Orient will both start at 1pm.
AFC Wimbledon had also requested an earlier kick-off before it became clear that fans had already made plans for their trip to Wiltshire to face Swindon Town.
