Harry Randall has been handed his first Six Nations start by Eddie Jones, replacing Ben Youngs for England's match with Italy in Rome on Saturday.
The Bristol Bears scrum-half will win his third cap, but his most significant one with his first two coming against the USA and Canada last summer.
Jones has rung the changes, making six alterations to his starting line-up from last weekend's Calcutta Cup defeat to Scotland at Murrayfield.
