Thomas Tuchel named a 35-man England squad on Friday morning for friendlies against Uruguay and Japan.
Manchester United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire have earned recalls after being left out of recent squads.
Mainoo has not played for England since starting the Euro 2024 final, when England were beaten by Spain in Berlin.
There are also places in the squad for Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele, AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori and Everton midfielder James Garner.
Jude Bellingham is named in the squad despite a recent injury layoff, but there is no space for Luke Shaw or Trent Alexander-Arnold.
