Staying healthy is a vital part of our day-to-day lives - but there are some parts of the country that seem to have a better time of it than others.
New findings from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reveal marked differences in levels of health across England.
The Health Index study, which has been carried out annually since 2015, calculates a score based on a number of factors for physical health, mental health and fitness.
A higher number means better health, while a lower number means poorer health.
The most recent data from 2021 found that most places saw considerable improvement in their scores compared to the first year of the pandemic, but that levels were still below those seen before Covid hit.
The average scores differ markedly according to location, with some towns remaining stuck near the bottom of the list.
Blackpool came in last place as unhealthiest town for the fifth year in a row, with the Lancashire seaside resort racking up a score of 76.5 - well below the national average of 100.
It was dragged down by a poor ranking on the 'Healthy People', which covers health outcomes such as mortality and life expectancy.
Next up was Kingston-upon-Hull, which ranked only slightly higher at 77.5.
Northern urban areas had some of the lowest scores, with Liverpool (79.9), Middlesbrough (80.2), Manchester (81.8), Knowsley (82.8), Salford (83.8) dominating the 'top ten' of most unhealthy places.
Leicester (83.6) and Portsmouth (83.8) also scored badly.
The UK's healthiest area according to the study was the old spa town of Harrogate, which boasted an impressive score of 124.9.
It performed especially well on the 'Healthy Places' category, which assesses the health facilities and green spaces available to local people.
Rutland, famous for its picturesque reservoir, came second, while the rural district of Elmbridge in Surrey took third place.
Much of the top ten is dominated by rural and affluent areas, like Surrey Heath and Ribble Valley - a result which comes not long after a recent study exposed major health inequalities across the UK.
