England are one victory away from a place in the World Cup semi-finals as France stand in their way of a third successive appearance in the last four in a major competition. Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka were all on the scoresheet as the Three Lions overcame Senegal to book their place in the quarter finals.
Spain were the latest high-profile European nation to be dumped out of the tournament on Tuesday as Morocco and PSG defender Achraf Hakimi secured their penalty shootout win with a cheeky panenka.
Luis Enrique's side joins Germany and Belgium on their early flight back to the continent after their premature group stage exits. In the other side of the draw, there are two South American juggernauts in Brazil and Argentina.

Brazilian Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Cafu and Roberto Carlos were in the triumphant squad the last time that a non-European club lifted the World Cup. Both sides could play each other in the semi-final should they overcome Croatia and Holland respectively.

Should England overcome France in the quarter-final, they will be within 90 minutes, minimum, of their first World Cup final since 1966.
The other fixture in the bracket sees Morocco face Portugal. The 2018 European Champions will be widely favoured going into the clash but the north African side can cause an upset as proven in the Round of 16.
They're widely supported at the tournament and there was wild scenes in Doha as well as across the world after they became the Arab nation to progress to the last eight of the tournament.

On the other side of the bracket, Holland take on Lionel Messi's Argentina for a place in the semi-final. Oranje have the unwanted record of finishing runners-up three times and still not win the tournament.
Croatia needed penalties to overcome Japan and they face Brazil. Tite's side are widely regarded as favourites and lived up to the billing with their dominant win over South Korea.
