England slumped to their second defeat to Hungary in 10 days after previously going 60 years without losing to them.
The Three Lions were beaten 1-0 in Budapest by Hungary earlier this month and they were stunned again, but this time at home.
Hungary ran out 4-0 winners as Roland Sallai struck twice, with Zsolt Nagy and Daniel Gazdag both striking late on too.
England were also reduced to ten men too, with John Stones being sent off for two yellow cards, and they remain bottom of their Nations League.
Simon Collings was at Molineux to see England in action...
Aaron Ramsdale 5
Kept a clean sheet against Italy and made a few heroic saves too. Endured a difficult night here as he was beaten four times by Hungary.
Kyle Walker 3
Like the rest of the England defence he lost his way towards the end of the game. Usually one of England’s most reliable defenders, but had an off-night.
Marc Guehi 4
Was acquitting himself fairly well for most of the game, but like the rest of the defence he got run ragged towards the end.
John Stones 3
Didn’t cover himself in glory with the first Hungary goal as his header went straight to Sallai. Wasn’t quite at the races all night, with his passing a bit off. Sent off late on for what looked a harsh second yellow card.
Reece James 6
Probably just about England’s best player on the night. Played the first-half at left-back, but moved to right wing-back after the break. Made an excellent clearance off the line.
Conor Gallagher 5
Gave a fairly good account of himself during a poor England performance. Offered lots of running in midfielder and tried to raise the tempo.
Kalvin Phillips 4
Had a really difficult night and was partly at fault for both of Hungary’s goal. The midfielder lost his marker for the first one and then was caught in possession for the second.
Jude Bellingham 6
Had the odd bright moment, like his header in the first-half and when he twisted one of Hungary’s defenders inside out with good feet in the box.
Jarrod Bowen 4
Really struggled tonight after a good run of games for England. Caught in possession a few times and lacked the cutting edge he’s shown at West Ham. Hooked at half-time.
Harry Kane 5
Would have had aspirations of getting closer to Wayne Rooney’s England goal record but had a quiet night. Went close with a header that hit the bar late on.
Bukayo Saka 5
Had the odd bright moment, creating a good chance in the first half with a cross. Spent the second-half playing at left wing-back.
Substitutions
Raheem Sterling (Bowen 45’) 5
Threatened to get in behind every now and then, but wasn’t really a threat.
Mason Mount (Gallagher 56’) 5
Came on and tried to change things. Setup a chance for Kane, which he hit the bar with, by putting in a good cross.
Phil Foden (Bellingham 67’) 5
His first came back after having Covid-19 this month. Had one snap-shot that went just wide.
Harry Maguire (Saka 85’) N/A
