It will come as no surprise that Gareth Southgate's England squad are paid handsomely for their efforts on and off the pitch.
Players are given a standard match fee for every game they participate in, and they have the chance for additional bonuses if they progress to the later stages.
But it turns out the Three Lions stars can also rake in thousands of pounds for posting on Instagram, adding to their already eye-watering fortunes.
Looking at the current England squad, you might expect the captain to be raking in the most cash from social media – but that's not the case.
According to research conducted by online casino comparison experts KingCasinoBonus, Marcus Rashford can earn a whopping £37,950 per sponsored post.
The Manchester United ace wasn't part of the starting line-up against Iran or USA, but many are calling for Southgate to use him after he scored 49 seconds after coming off the bench in the opening match.
Although not currently part of the starting line-up, Rashford has made a name for himself off the pitch by campaigning for free school meals and has been a huge voice in the Black Lives Matter campaign.
Some may have expected England captain Harry Kane, often considered the 'world's best striker' to be the highest paid social media star – but he's not far behind Rashford.
The Tottenham ace comes in as second most influential social media star, and with over 13 million followers he can charge up to £36,997 per Instagram post.
Coming in third place is Chelsea's Raheem Stirling. Posting a sponsored picture on Instagram can earn the England forward £27,661.
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander Arnold can charge up to £22,308 per sponsored post, while Manchester City's Phil Foden, who surprisingly hasn't been part of the starting line-up, can earn £15,565.
His Manchester City colleague Jack Grealish ranks sixth thanks to his 5.5 million followers, allowing him to charge £14,97 for a social media post.
The research also found that midfielder Conor Gallagher has the highest engagement rate with fans, at 18.92%, while Borussia Dortmund player Jude Bellingham receives the most likes on average per post.
