England fans appear to be relieved for some light entertainment in the form of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here on Friday night (November 25). The Three Lions were reportedly booed at the final whistle as the team missed their chance to qualify for the World Cup knockout phase with a match to spare in a 0-0 draw with the United States.
Gareth Southgate's men were back on the pitch in Qatar following Monday’s 6-2 win over Iran which got their 2022 campaign off to a roaring start. But the US maintained their unbeaten record against England on the world stage and went close to winning Friday’s Group B clash in Al Khor.
Progress to the last 16 remains in England’s hands ahead of Tuesday's eagerly-anticipated clash with Wales. The latest action was aired on ITV and after some post-match analysis with Gary Neville, Ian Wright and Roy Keane, it was soon time to hand over TV viewing to Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly who were on hand with the latest jungle action.
The first part of I'm A Celeb saw the remaining campmates tucking into the full English breakfast which Matt Hancock, Mike Tindall, and Seann Walsh secured in a challenge the night before. But as they finished up their luxury meal - by jungle standards - it was time for the hosts to come into camp to announce Chris Moyles as the next celebrity to leave the camp.
And as viewers got stuck into the latest installment of the ITV reality show, they were taking to Twitter to say the same thing. @Ryangsoapking12 tweeted: "#ImaCeleb can't come quick enough after that. #Eng #ENGUSA #Qatar2022." @BrainyNewSexySH said: "Let’s just hope @antanddec can cheer us up after that dreadful match. #ImACelebrity."
@scall78 wrote: "Never wanted to see Ant and Dec more after this snooze fest #eng #ENGUSA #ImACelebrity #imaceleb." @jowadders01 posted: "Well after watching England play, I am now thinking that @imacelebrity (which I enjoy every night) is gonna be a much better watch! Rubbish performance by England and that’s down to Southgate not picking the right team! Time to get some stars on @imacelebrity #ImaCeleb #Eng." @Hamperings added: "After the drab that was football.. The jungle will liven it up #ImaCeleb."
The latest episode of I'm A Celeb then saw former health secretary Matt and ex rugby player Mike take on the latest Bushtucker Trial, Fallen Stars. It saw Mike being asked questions in order to earn Matt time to put together puzzles in a cage.
