A man in an England shirt appeared to be led away by security guards at a World Cup fanzone in Swansea after tensions boiled over and there were reports of pints being thrown and injuries.
Wales bowed out of their first World Cup in 64 years as they finished a disappointing group stage with a 3-0 loss to neighbours England that put them in last place.
They lost talisman Gareth Bale at halftime with a hamstring injury and England proved too strong with in-form Marcus Rashford grabbing two goals and Phil Foden getting the other.
And sadly there was trouble at a Swansea World Cup fanzone on Tuesday night with footage showing pushing and shoving as well as an England fan being led away by security guards, reported WalesOnline.
The images were from midway through the second half of the match in Qatar.
Five security staff could be seen escorting the supporter, who was wearing an England shirt, through the tent.
He appeared to be involved in an altercation on his way towards the exit and a security guard then seemed to hold the fan's arms behind his back before he was led away while other supporters chanted "Wales" in his direction.
In unpleasant scenes there were also chants of: "Stand up if you hate England."
One person at the event said there had been around 10 Wales and England fans who were made to leave the fanzone.
At one stage a paramedic reportedly entered the tent and appeared to treat one Wales fan's leg with the cause of the injury not known.
One witness said: "I just heard a commotion. Then I saw security send [an England fan] out. Then another fan was causing commotion and got escorted out. They got sent out of the front door. It happened in a matter of minutes and security were really quick to act and stop it from escalating."
A person also wrote on social media: "More than just the one scuffle, a window punched & smashed & pints thrown in the air."
Otherwise Wales fans at the even said that the atmosphere was "sombre" following the loss but people kept their spirits up and cheered the team to the end.
