England cricketers learn fate after nightclub incident during New Zealand tour

  • The caution relates to an incident on a night out in Wellington before the third One Day International in October, where Brook was involved in an altercation with a nightclub bouncer.
  • Both players admitted to breaching regulations, leading to the formal caution, but no further punishment will be imposed.
  • Josh Tongue, who was also under investigation, will face no further action regarding the incident.
  • Brook has since apologised for his actions and for initially stating he was alone, acknowledging that teammates were present.
