England have a fully fit squad available ahead of their flight to Naples, to face Italy, later on Wednesday.
The entire 23-man group trained at St George’s Park in the morning ahead of their opening Euro 2024 qualifier on Thursday.
Ivan Toney is the only uncapped player in Gareth Southgate’s group and could make his debut amid an ongoing Football Association investigation into 232 alleged breaches of betting regulations.
Southgate last week insisted he saw no reason not to call up Toney for a second time, telling reporters: “There hasn’t been any trial or judgement as yet, so I don’t know any basis not to pick him really.”
Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount pulled out shortly after the squad was announced. Nick Pope also dropped out through injury and was the only one of the three to be replaced as Tottenham goalkeeper Fraser Forester was recalled to the group.
Declan Rice will speak to the media alongside Southgate on Wednesday evening after coaching staff held a reset meeting with their squad on Tuesday night.
The players were urged to forget about the World Cup in Qatar and start building for the European Championships in Germany.
