Thousands of England and Wales fans are basking in the 27C Tenerife sunshine as they gear up for tonight's Battle of Britain.
Die-hard supporters have shunned Qatar and jetted more than 1,500 miles to the Canary Islands to soak up the sun for the World Cup.
And today they began downing cheap beer as they prepared for the mammoth clash between Harry Kane's Three Lions and Gareth Bales' Red Dragons.
Wales' takeover of Tenerife began as a joke on Twitter when concerns were raised about travelling to Qatar and the country's strict alcohol laws.
But the Red Army have travelled in their droves - with as many as 2,500 supporters thought to have made the trip.
Now they're preparing for the fixture with England that could decide their World Cup fate.
Fibre optic engineer Cai Mays, 26, from the Rhondda Valley, said: "Wales are going to win, 8-0. Gareth Bale with a double hat-trick."
Cai jetted 1,500 miles to Tenerife with Wales fans Jake Eddy, 27, a railway worker, Jordan Smith, 24, who works with a homeless charity, and carpenter Jack Roberts, 28.
Jordan said: "Those Middle Eastern countries have never interested me. It's a shame that we've not been able to travel to watch the World Cup.
England fans Eden Higgins, 19, a lifeguard, travelled to the Canary Islands with his pals, estate agent Josh Johnson, 25, Reece Johnson, 27, an accountant, and Liam Laraba, 28.
Eden, from Pontefract, Wakefield, said: "We couldn't go to Qatar - it was too expensive and it was raining at home. We got here for the USA game and we leave after the Wales game. It's been great."
Spanish Police had ordered a “special security operation” ahead of tonight's game after violent clashes erupted over the weekend.
The disorder sparked concerns of "riots" after drunken brawls broke out on Friday before England's clash with the USA.
But today the sunshine resort was buzzing with excitement ahead of tonight's crunch fixture.
Mark Clare, 57, from Stretford, Greater Manchester, a retired Procter and Gamble worker, was basking in the sunshine with fellow England fan and retired fork lift truck driver David Rawson, 69.
Mark said: "It's been fantastic. I was going to play golf but we've watched four games every day, haven't missed a thing.
"It was my idea, I just said, 'I'm going away for the World Cup', and a few of my friends joined me. It's going to be an England win tonight - I'm going 3-1."
However Ryan Williams-Clement, 22, a baker, from Merthyr Tydfil, said: "It's clearly going to be a Wales win."
NHS worker Rich Cunningham, 61, travelled out to Playa de las Américas with his friends Jimmy Watson, 61, a train driver, and lorry driver Davie Wilkie, 55.
They were part of a group of 12 to make the trip for a 10-day stop-over.
Rich said: "We would have gone to the Euros but Covid ruined it.
"So we just started planning this and it's been fantastic. The weather has been fantastic and I reckon it will be a 3-1 win to England tonight."
