A third person has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 66-year-old man was stabbed to death at a block of flats in Enfield.
It comes as a post-mortem reveals victim George Eric Rogers died as a result of “sharp force trauma to the neck”.
Mr Rogers was found suffering stab wounds in the communal area of flats in Lockhart Close, around 7.20pm on Friday.Emergency responders fought to save him, but he died at the scene.Detectives investigating his death on Tuesday arrested a 42-year-old woman on suspicion of murder.
She remained in custody at a north London police station on Wednesday.
The latest arrest came after detectives charged two other people as part of the same investigation.
Ellie Ackhurst, 30,and Anthony Elliott, 42, both of no fixed address, were charged with murder on Tuesday.
They appeared at Highbury Magistrates' Court later the same day.
They were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday.
