Energy firm SSE sneaked into Scots gran's house and installed electricity meter in row over bill

An energy firm sneaked into a gran’s home to rip out her electricity meter in a row over an unpaid bill.

The move by SSE has prompted concern that thousands of other struggling customers could suffer the same fate as living costs soar.

Tracey Miller, 48, owed the utility company £690 and believed she had reached an agreement to pay the sum in weekly chunks.
