This year people are trying to find ways of cutting back on how much they are spending with bills rising for millions of household up and down the country.
As a result, people are taking to social media - and experts such as Martin Lewis - to get advice on their next steps.
However now another expert, this time in energy, has explained why it could be best to keep your heating on all day to actually save money.

According to Andy Kerr, founder of BOXT, people could save £100 per year by turning down their heating by just one degree. By doing this, you could save over £100 annually. An estimated 17 million households in the UK could save as much as £2 billion by turning their thermostats down by just 1C from the current average temperature of 20C.
But whilst it's recommended to turn your heating down by one degree, there's also one handy tip that Kerr has suggested - and it could save you money in the long run.
He explains that to prevent frozen pipes, which can cause hundreds of pounds of damage, the Energy Saving Trust recommends that households should leave the heating on to some degree during winter - even if you're not there.
They add that if you are going to do this, you should check your home insurance policy before you go away adding: "The rule of thumb is to keep your heating at a minimum of 12 degrees, rather than switching it off completely."
In addition, if everyone in the UK turned their thermostat down by just one degree it would save the same amount of carbon equivalent to:
- 370 million trees being planted
4.1 million cars being taken off the road
2.4 million people changing to a vegetarian diet
7.9 million return flights from London to New York
1.9 trillion emails being sent
