A little boy is set to lose his fingertips and toes after waking up with a horror rash - but doctors say he could have died if it wasn't for his mum's quick-thinking actions.
Zoe Walne, 37, said her son Teddie, 17 months, had been a "normal energetic and mischievous" tot the day before he woke up with a little red blotch on his head on Easter Sunday.
The mum of four had left her partner Duncan Stewart, 39, at home in Burnley, Lancashire, to meet her mum for a walk - but by the time she had made the car journey, the blotches had spread to his tummy.
