Endura launches a new fully waterproof Burner shoe and updates its MT500 MTB clothing

MT500 waterprrof shoe from Endura.

Endura knows all about making the best mountain biking apparel that's ready to cope with the harshest of weather. After all Endura HQ is based in Scotland, just outside Edinburgh, and Scottish weather can deliver four seasons in one day at anytime of the year. Endura doesn't need any fancy climate chamber at their Product Development base in Livingston, they just need to head outside and Scotland will do the rest.

The brand that's been around since 1993, has now, just in time for winter updated its flagship Endura MT500 clothing range, and added new items in their SingleTrack range too. The update also sees the brand launch the all-new Endura MT500 Burner waterproof shoe, developed alongside the Atherton's and Endura athletes Joe Barnes and Kris Kyle.  We had a sneak look at the shoe at Core Bike earlier in the year, and also had a look over the just launched new items, dropped by Endura, and the built-in tech to see how they stack up in the crowded best mountain bike clothing market.

Brand new for the winter season is the Endura MT500 Waterproof shoe, and Endura has built this shoe from the ground up. The upper features a highly durable fabric that has a fully waterproof, yet breathable Exoshell membrane ready for muddy and wet weather riding. They also feature a unique rubber compound that gives the Burner a softer ‘StickyFoot Grip’ for maximum flat pedal grip. As well as a flat pedal option, the MT500 waterproof shoe comes in a clipless version too. A speed lace system and extra waterproof cover are also added for a secure fit and to keep feet dry and mud-free out on the trails. The Endura MT500 Waterproof Boot is priced at $199.99 / £169.99 for the clipped version and $189.99 / £159.99 for the flat pedal model, and comes in either Black or Orange coloring.
