A hardware store that had "everything you wanted" is closing down after 40 years of trading.
On Tuesday Bolts Mica, on Bebington Road in Rock Ferry, announced they will be closing their doors in the coming weeks. The store confirmed that the closure was due to increased costs and a decrease in customer levels.
The store was saved from closure five years ago by the Mica co-operative when the previous owners retired. Bolts Mica has asked customers to visit the store in the coming weeks to say goodbye to staff.
