'End of an era' as Scottish town's old supermarket building to be demolished

THE demolition of a former food store in Johnstone – which forms part of a significant regeneration initiative – is gathering pace in what has been described as “the end of an era” for the town centre.

Strides have been taken in the flattening of the Houstoun Court building, often referred to as the old Presto, as the contractor continues to make progress on site.
