Empty Glasgow unit to get new lease of life as restaurant

PLANS for a new restaurant to move into an abandoned unit in Glasgow were approved.

Glasgow City Council gave the go-ahead to plans to build an eatery at 928 Argyle Street, in Anderston.

Applicant TSA Properties lodged the bid for the vacant retail unit in February.

According to documents, the new venue will have a ground floor and lower ground floor, bar, seating area and function room.

Consent was granted by the council, with a few conditions, including with regard to cooking smells and waste disposal.
