Stacey Solomon admitted she was 'trying not to cry' as she got to spend the day working on something special at her idyllic countryside home. And she appeared to address rumours she was set to takeover as a host on This Morning after a cryptic post last month.
On Wednesday (June 14), Stacey, 33, took to social media to update her loyal followers on what she was up to after going silent amid her busy work schedule while also being a doting mum to her five children.
The Loose Women star fought back tears as she revealed it was a 'big day' before discussing the importance of her latest project and detailed her fear that her career 'happened by accident' and could be taken away. "I actually feel about emotion. I think I feel emotional because a lot of the time I honestly feel like I can't believe that some of the things I get to do, I get to do.

"I almost feel like it's happened by accident. Like this wasn't the life meant for me. Not Stacey from Dagenham. So it's happened by accident so then I'm like, 'Quick, everyone! Let's run with it. let's go for it let's go for it,' before someone comes along and says, 'Oops, we got the wrong person'.
"And then when you're working on something special and you finally get to see it all today and shoot it and it becomes a real thing and it's actually happened, it's almost a relief that it's happened and I've got there and it actually is real. I get really... I'm very excited."
Stacey told her fans that she'd hope to share more details with them later but was bound by some of the secrecy surrounding the project. But when she did return to social media, her followers were quick to flood her with messages as they guessed what she was up to.
Sharing a short clip with her sofa in the middle of the shot and cameras around the outside, the Sort Your Life Out host typed on her Instagram Story: “Trying not to cry In front of a gazillion people." She added: "I can’t say where or what but I’m allowed to show behind the scenes from today & I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to guess the 'what'."
Stacey then posted a snap of a bedroom as she revealed "more from behind the scenes" and while she didn't explicitly say what the new project is, she shared screenshots of her fan's messages and appeared to confirm their guesses were right as they shared their hopes that she is bringing out her own "range" of something - seemingly home related.
"Oh your messages are EVERYTHING," the former X Factor finalist and I'm A Celebrity winner typed. "I’m so grateful for you all! I promise as soon as I’m allowed I will tell you who, where, what & everything in between. I can’t tell you how my heart was just meaning today & I’m so proud & excited for you guys to see everything."
She then finished off by saying: "Coming…September 2023," which comes after she teased the September date last month. She set her fans' minds racing after teasing her next job in a cryptic social media post - despite the planned start date being months away. The TV star revealed to her loyal followers that she had "one of the most exciting meetings".
Sharing the news on her Instagram Story, Stacey, filmed herself writing a note in her diary. The mum-of-five, who welcomed her fifth child in February this year, was seen spelling out "September 2023" before adding a heart doodle underneath. Writing alongside the clip, Stacey said: "Just had one of the most exciting meetings of my life. I can’t even tell you how excited I am to share this with you soon." She then added: "My dream."
And fans were clearly messaging her about her cryptic post as she later shared a follow-up. Posting a black and white snap of her resting with her sleeping baby daughter, Belle, Stacey wrote: "Your messages are soooo lovely," with a face holding back tears emoji. "Can't wait to show you everything I've been working so hard on.
"So many of you telling me it's 'about time Stace'," with a crying laughing emoji. "Sorry!! I just wanted it to be as perfect and special as I possibly could. Anyway, love you all loads." However, some did hope it may have been a TV gig as the cryptic tease came early into the Phillip Schofield scandal when he initially announced he had quit This Morning after more than 20 years.
