Heartbroken Piers Morgan battled back tears as he sat through a tribute to his pal and cricket legend Shane Warne.
The Australian leg-spinner - one of the greatest to ever play the sport - died of a suspected heart attack aged 52 on Friday.
The sporting icon had been found unresponsive in his villa on the Thai island of Koh Samui on Friday, said his management company.
Over the weekend, more TV time was dedicated to star Shane as the fun-loving fast bowler was remembered.
Sky Sports' Warne In A Million delved deep into his career and life and took fans back with some of his most magical moments.
Piers tuned in, just days after losing his friend who has been honoured with a state funeral.
The former GMB presenter said: "Felt quite choked up watching Sky’s tribute repeat of their brilliant Shane Warne doc ‘Warne In A Million’ then I got to this bit and laughed out loud. He was so right."
He uploaded a quick clip of the programme as Shane told the cameras how he coped with people trying to keep him in line.
He said: "In this day an age you have got to be a little bit careful but sometimes, you've just got to say 'get stuffed' to the fun police."
Many agreed with him and one follower replied: "He was unapologetically himself Piers…always straight up…and as a sportsman, he was the mentally toughest going around…which makes this so surreal that someone as strong as him, is gone…treasure what you have and RIP to one of the most giving human beings you’d ever meet."
Earlier, he shared a photo when they played together in a charity cricket match seven years ago.
Piers put: "The Morgan XI dressing room in August, 2015.. after we finally beat @NewickCC following a decade of star-studded failure. ‘Relax, Skipper, there’s no way I’m losing to a bunch of villagers,’ announced Warnie on arrival. A magical experience with a cricket magician."
Piers was among the first celebrities to pay tribute to Shane when news of his death broke on Friday.
"He was a genius cricketer, a supreme entertainer, a fantastic bloke and a great loyal friend for many years. Just gutting news," he tweeted less than an hour after the horrific story broke.
As tributes flooded in, his former fiance Liz Hurley told of her heartbreak at his loss. She said: "I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever. RIP my beloved Lionheart."
Elizabeth's son, Damian Hurley, then added: "I’m still trying to wrap my head around this… SW was a father figure to me for most of my formative years and was truly one of the best men I’ve ever known. My heart is broken. Thinking of and sending love to all SW’s family."
